The work begins with a production of a portable security fence as a way to control space. They instigate process of separation, segregation and security by promoting isolation, restricting people, groups, or multitudes. Although traditionally made up of an alloy of metals that have weight and hardness as its characteristics, the grids presented at the work are fragile and projective objects, without their material density, but loaded with symbolic and ideological value. Through simple techniques of trimming, folding and gluing the grids are made with paper and exposed in order to create obstacles to the public creating relations with the architecture of the exhibition space.
